Don't Forget God!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭

Don't forget God when you receive what you are praying for. God knows the things that we want the most, and often times He does give us what we want. When God does give us the things we want we have to stop and give thanks. It's like this, if you give someone a gift that you know they have really been wanting, something they will absolutely love, and they don't even say thank you it would hurt your feelings. It would make you feel like they don't appreciate you. If someone asked how they got the gift and they said they got it for themselves it would make you hurt also. When God gives us what we are praying for we need to shout from the rooftops that God done it for us, that He made a way. We need to thank God, telling everyone about it. We should be excited to tell others about God and all the wonderful things He does for us. Today, if you're praying for something remember God when you receive it. God knows what you want and He will give you your hearts desires, but don't forget where the blessings came from. The Bible says that every good and perfect gift comes from above. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “Always be full of joy in the Lord. I say it again—rejoice!” Philippians‬ ‭4:4‬ ‭ “Thank God for this gift too wonderful for words!” 2 Corinthians‬ ‭9:15‬ ‭ “Whatever is good and perfect is a gift coming down to us from God our Father, who created all the lights in the heavens. He never changes or casts a shifting shadow.”James‬ ‭1:17‬ ‭ “I thank you for answering my prayer and giving me victory!” ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭118:21‬ ‭

Wait Patiently!

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ If God is making you wait, then wait patiently. Nothing in the waiting is a waste. I remember a time in my life where I was praying for something, I waited years and seem to receive no answer. I waited and waited. Somedays I was impatient and cried all day, other days I waited with patience of steel and praised God for what I knew I would someday receive.
