Happiness That Will Never Fulfill.

“Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you your heart’s desires.” ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭37:4‬ ‭

Happiness is something we are all searching for in life, it's something that we each want to feel. I have come to realize if I want to feel happiness it begins with finding God. I will never be happy in this world when I don't have God in my life. Although people think they might be happy on earth now, there will come a time for eternity and if their lives are full of sin then happiness will never last. Believing that this world can satisfy your soul is only lying to yourselves. You have to find a true meaningful relationship with God and work on it everyday, you aren't called to be perfect but you have to make an effort. God knows your heart, and if you're trying He sees that. Today, spend time truly seeking God for the happiness you're searching for. This earth cannot fill your soul. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “A cheerful heart is good medicine, but a broken spirit saps a person’s strength.”‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭17:22‬ ‭ “Yes, joyful are those who live like this! Joyful indeed are those whose God is the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭144:15‬ ‭ “God blesses those whose hearts are pure, for they will see God.” Matthew‬ ‭5:8‬ ‭ “Oh, what joy for those whose disobedience is forgiven, whose sin is put out of sight!” Psalms‬ ‭32:1‬ ‭

Don't Forget God!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Don't forget God when you receive what you are praying for. God knows the things that we want the most, and often times He does give us what we want. When God does give us the things we want we have to stop and give thanks. It's like this, if you give someone a gift that you know they have really been wanting, something they will absolutely love, and they don't even say thank you it would hurt your feelings. It would make you feel like they don't appreciate you. If someone asked how they got the gift and they said they got it for themselves it would make you hurt also. When God gives us what we are praying for we need to shout from the rooftops that God done it for us, that He made a way. We need to thank God, telling everyone about it.
