Where God guides he provides.

"But forget all that- it is nothing compared to what I am going to do. For I am about to do something new. See, I have already begun! Do you not see it? I will make a pathway through the wilderness. I will create rivers in the dry wasteland." Isaiah 43:18-19 As we begin the new year, let's remember that where God guides us this year He will provide for us. No matter the circumstance we are in right now God is making a way for you, you only need to be still. This new year is going to bring blessings and love to you and your family. You will see things start to become better, all at once you'll realize all your problems will drift away. Today let's not focus on the sad parts of the past year but let's focus on the good things to come in the new year. God is going to show you how faithful he really is this year. You've been patient, you've kept the hope, and you didn't give up. Your blessing is on its way to you, you'll see it start to show up soo...

Trust His timing.

There is times in all of our lives where we get discouraged because things aren't happening on our time as we'd like them to. In those times usually God is teaching us something. We must go through hard times to understand what good times really are like. We must trust God and put our plans into His hands. What is meant for us will find us in His perfect timing. When our circumstances seem to not be changing in the time that we would like them to God is usually behind the scenes working it all out. We just need to relax and trust in God. Today be patient in the timing God is working it out in, He could be saving us from something. When our life doesn't go as planned just remember sometimes God wrecks our plans before they can wreck us. Today's verses are "Don't Let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God, and trust also in me." John 14:1. Also this verse "So let's not get tired of doing good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing...

Whatever the enemy sent for evil, God will use it for good.

The book of Esther, lets begin with a recap of the story. The king of Susa dethroned the queen, Vashti. The king set out a decree that all the young women in the kingdom must come to the royal throne, the woman the king found the most beautiful he would choose to be his new queen. Esther was raised by her uncle Mordecai, they were Jews. As Esther came before the king, the king loved Esther more than any other of the young women he had seen and he set the royal crown on her head and declared her queen. Haman declared all the king's officials must bow down to him, but Mordecai refused to bow down or show him respect. It was against his faith to bow to anyone other than God. So Haman set out a decree to kill all the Jews. Mordecai sent a letter to Esther informing her that she must talk to the king and fix this before they killed her people. She invited the king and Haman to a feast, the first night she couldn't ask them, she was scared, but the king said ask anything of me, my qu...

No sin can separate you from GOD!

"And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God's Love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow--not even the powers of hell can separate us from God's love." Romans 8:38. Lets break this verse up into a couple of pieces, first of all neither death nor life, so as in when we're dead God's love is still with us, which means his peace is, same with life no matter what part of life we are in God's love is there. Next up we have neither angels nor demons, which means no one can ever take God's love from us, it doesn't matter how many people go to God telling him the wrong things you have done, God already knew. He already forgave you for it, he died on the cross so we didn't have to. Not even a demon in your mind trying to convince us that God doesn't love us 'because all we have done' God still does love us. Next, this is my personal favorite of this v...

Time doesn't phase me, ever since it lost its hold on me. ;Part 2

If you recall yesterday's devotion was on "time doesn't have a hold on me anymore." If I'm being honest we all let it have a hold on us sometimes. If we have a deadline or a time we have to have something finished or done by we tend to get stressed. I'm going to be completely honest, my husband had a time sensitive situation that was stressing us both completely out lately. As we woke up and tried our best to fix this situation we hit a dead end. I then began to pray knowing if no human can help my God can change some hearts to fix this. As I prayed I came across a picture it said "Don't worry God is going to bless you in the next hour." I felt it go all over my body that it was God telling me he had this taken care of no matter what humans had to say about it in that moment or how it looked to us. As I had done all I could I left the rest up to God. It wasn't in that hour, but we got a call 3 hours later saying the situation had been resolve...

Time doesn't phase me, ever since it lost it's hold on me.

"Even if that person wrongs you seven times a day and each time turns again and ask for forgiveness, you must forgive." Luke 17:4. This is a verse from Jesus himself, but a verse nobody really likes to hear when you're the one having to do the forgiving. Whatever circumstance you might be in to give forgiveness whether it be a ex, a friend, or a loved one. Jesus didn't say you can forgive some but others you don't have to. No Jesus was meaning forgiving even when people least deserve it. Forgive no matter what they have done to you. Jesus was here on earth just like us, he went through things just like we do, Jesus was betrayed in a terrible way by someone who walked with him daily and was sharing the gospel with him. He literally was betrayed by his closest people. At the end of the day though, he forgave him. He loved Judas just like he loves you and I. He died on the cross for Judas just as much as he did for you and I. Next time someone does you wrong or hurts...

Just when the caterpillar thought the world was over, it became a butterfly.

December 26,2021  "This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun. 2 Corinthians 5:17 This devotion is going to be a little longer but this one is so dear to my heart, I have felt this on my heart for a few weeks, but when this verse came to me today I knew it was all connected to exactly what I have been getting signs or words whichever you'd like to call it, about. All theses verses ended up coming down to one thing. The purpose God has for me. Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, and the evidence of things not seen.  Hebrews 11:1 A butterfly cannot see evidence immediately of things changing for it to come out of its cocoon, it takes time. A caterpillar is in it's cocoon 10-14 days before it starts to become transparent, revealing the magnificent butterfly placed inside the cocoon. Once the cocoon becomes completely transparent, you know then it will emerge the day of. Emerge meaning: to bec...

Remember the reason for this season.

Today is Christmas, we all got up and opened gifts, and spent time with our loved ones. We must not forget the reason why we celebrate. Jesus came down, was born in a manger, with no clothes or new toys. He was sent down and had to be wrapped in cloths. He wasn't born in a castle to a king and queen and got everything he wanted. He was showing us it's not material things that really matter. If you are feeling down because maybe you didn't get the newest phone, tablet, gaming console, or new car, remember that the greatest gift was here long before we were even made. Jesus gave us the best gift we could ever wish for, salvation. He saved us from every mistake we have ever made or ever will make. I know gifts are wonderful, everyone gets excited over them, and its a great way for us to show love. It's wonderful to give to others, but we need to remember to give others the best thing we ever could, The gospel of Jesus Christ. We should share of Jesus' love everyday. W...
