Ask Anything And It Will Be Given.

"But if you remain in me and my words remain in you, you may ask for anything you want, and it will be granted!" John 15:7

This verse is powerful if you think on it. Think about it this way, how parents are for their kids on Christmas, they always try their best to give their children the best gifts they can. My dad tells a story a lot around Christmas and it never gets old for me, he wanted a go kart as a child and his dad didn't have enough money for it, his dad saved up the most he could and still was short some. So his dad went and sold something that was sentimental to him in order to afford the go cart for my dad. He had enough afterwards so they went and picked it up. My dad never forgot what my grandpa done for him. That's the same way Jesus is. He wants us to have the things we want and desire to have. He wants to give us all we could ever need. All we have to do is ask and it will be given to us. We also shouldn't rush when it will be given though, even though God does promise to give us things, He never put a timing label on it. He didn't say in "a week I'll give it to you if you ask" no he said ask and it will be given. As in soon as God feels its time. If you're asking for something from God today know he wants to give it to you, just be patient. All good things take time. God is here for you and wants you to live a life with abundant blessings. Here are some verses to reflect on today. "If we are confident that he hears us whenever we ask for anything that pleases him. And since we know he hears us when we make our request, we also know that he will give us what we ask for." 1 John 5:14-15 "Yes, ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it!" John 14:14 "You can ask anything in my name, and I will do it, so that the Son can bring glory to the Father." John 14:13 "I also tell you this; if two of you agree here on earth concerning anything you ask, my Father in heaven will do it for you." Matthew 18:19
