Ask For Wisdom, As Needed.

"If you need wisdom, ask our generous God, and he will give it to you. He will not rebuke you for asking." James 1:5

This verse is amazing, if you really think about it. Not only does it state that God gives us wisdom when we ask it also says, He won't push us away when we do. He never gets tired of us asking for wisdom about situations. If we go to God before we make decisions we can never go wrong. If you're looking to buy a house, buy a new car, or even finding the perfect person for you, ask God for wisdom today about your situation. He will always come through right on time and show you which path to take. You will never have to second guess if you done the right thing if you only listen to God. His plans are always better if we listen to him.  Here are some verses to reflect on today. "We can make our plans, but the Lord directs our steps." Proverbs 16:9 "Wise people think before they act; fools don't-- and even brag about their foolishness." Proverbs 13:16 "My thoughts are nothing like your thoughts," says the Lord. "And my ways are far beyond anything you could ever imagine." Isaiah 55:8

Wait Patiently!

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ If God is making you wait, then wait patiently. Nothing in the waiting is a waste. I remember a time in my life where I was praying for something, I waited years and seem to receive no answer. I waited and waited. Somedays I was impatient and cried all day, other days I waited with patience of steel and praised God for what I knew I would someday receive. Sometimes the waiting is easy, other times it is an uphill battle. Whenever we are waiting we will go through different seasons, but we can count on the fact that God is at work for us. Don't Forget God!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Don't forget God when you receive what you are praying for. God knows the things that we want the most, and often times He does give us what we want. When God does give us the things we want we have to stop and give thanks. It's like this, if you give someone a gift that you know they have really been wanting, something they will absolutely love, and they don't even say thank you it would hurt your feelings. It would make you feel like they don't appreciate you. If someone asked how they got the gift and they said they got it for themselves it would make you hurt also.
