Ask God For Advice

"We love each other because he loved us first." 1 John 4:19

We are able to love and be loved by others because God sent his son to earth to show us how to love. When we're in a relationship sometimes we tend to go through tough times in it, or a so called rough patch. We have to remember that the bad times don't last forever. If they're the person God has made for you then you'll never have to question where you stand with them, it will be certain where you stand. There will be hard times in the relationship, arguments and maybe even breakups, but at the end of the day your love will only grow stronger for them.  Even though you might not see things working our between you and someone always remember that God can change someones heart in an instant. I never saw my husband coming, I wasn't even looking for a relationship when I met him. If I'm being completely honest with you, I actually rejected him at first. I wasn't ready for anything and never thought we could work out together. God had other plans though he saw we was fit for each other, so when the time came I found we had a lot more in common than I originally thought. Sometimes the person you think you would never be with, is the exact person you end up with. You have to trust God to show you who is really meant for you. You have to lean on God's understanding in all times, when things become difficult in your relationship be more caring and understanding. God has a perfect person for each of us, and some of us are meant to not be married or don't want to and that's okay too. If you are in a relationship and going through a tough time in it right now, just wait, be patient. The very best is yet to come, don't make any decisions that could mess up what you have. If you feel lead to end a relationship but don't want to then talk to God about it before you do so, ask him to show you his plans for your future, ask him to remove all those not meant to follow you in your path for this next season. Breakups hurt, but ending up marrying wrong will hurt much more. Pray and be patient for God's answer and you'll never go wrong. Here are some verses to reflect on today. "Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord."  Psalms 27:14  "The man who finds a wife finds a treasure, and he receives favor from the Lord." Proverbs 18:22. "Since they are no longer two but one, let no one split apart what God has joined together." Matthew 19:6 "Above all, keep loving one another earnestly, since love covers a multitude of sins." 1 Peter 4:8
