Do NOT fear, Jesus is near.

"So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand." Isaiah 41:10 

I once read a quote that stated the Bible says 'do not fear' 365 times which is a daily reminder to live each day being fearless. It always stuck with me, although fear is not from God at all we all tend to let it slip through the cracks and really get to us. We must always be fearless in our faith, and in our lives.  We can't let fear get the best of us, we have to fulfill the purpose God has set before us. I'm going to be honest with y'all I was so scared to start this blog, I was scared of what people might say or make fun of me for it. I had it on my heart to start a blog since late August, and I kept putting it off until I finally thought about it enough and realized it doesn't matter what people say about you, it matters that God called you to do something to help someone. Nothing should ever hold you back from what God has called you to do. You can't let fear stand in the way of maybe the best thing you've ever done. Some times the greatest thing God has for you on the other side of your comfort zone. You have to let go of the fear and hold on to God's faithful promises. If God tells you something He never will change His mind, He will always fulfill His promises. Here are some verses to reflect on today. "They do not fear bad news; they confidently trust in the Lord to care for them." Psalms 112:7 "But I will never stop loving him nor fail to keep my promise to him." Psalms 89:33 "Your promise revives me; it comforts me in all my troubles." Psalms 119:50

Wait Patiently!

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ If God is making you wait, then wait patiently. Nothing in the waiting is a waste. I remember a time in my life where I was praying for something, I waited years and seem to receive no answer. I waited and waited. Somedays I was impatient and cried all day, other days I waited with patience of steel and praised God for what I knew I would someday receive. Sometimes the waiting is easy, other times it is an uphill battle. Whenever we are waiting we will go through different seasons, but we can count on the fact that God is at work for us. Don't Forget God!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Don't forget God when you receive what you are praying for. God knows the things that we want the most, and often times He does give us what we want. When God does give us the things we want we have to stop and give thanks. It's like this, if you give someone a gift that you know they have really been wanting, something they will absolutely love, and they don't even say thank you it would hurt your feelings. It would make you feel like they don't appreciate you. If someone asked how they got the gift and they said they got it for themselves it would make you hurt also. When God gives us what we are praying for we need to shout from the rooftops that God done it for us, that He made a way. We need to thank God, telling everyone about it.
