Finish what you started.
"Finishing is better than starting. Patience is better than pride." Ecclesiastes 7:8
When we start a project we all tend to grow weary and stop trying as hard on it or stop before it's finished, I am terrible at this myself. Procrasination gets the best of all of us. When I started these blogs I had planned to do them once a week and somehow I ended up doing them everyday. This is something I pray to continue daily, they do take time to write and find a verse I feel lead to write on daily but the outcome will be worth it. God called me to do this I felt in my heart and when you follow what God has called you to do you will be rewarded greatly. Today if God has lead you to do something please do it, you'll never regret following God's plan for your life. What if Jesus hadn't finished His plans to die for our sins when he came to earth? We would be lost and living in sin. Thank God He did, follow out your plans when God sets them before you, just as Jesus done. Now on to the last part of this verse, Patience is better than pride. When we get too much pride we tend to forget to be humble towards others, and us as christians we are meant to be humble and kind. We should always be patient in every situation no matter how hard it is. God never wants us to be full of pride. Here are today's verses to reflect on. "Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord." Psalms 27:14 "Commit your actions to the Lord, and your plans will succeed." Proverbs 16:3 "Pride leads to conflict; those who take advice are wise." Proverbs 13:10 "Pride ends in humiliation, while humility brings honor." Proverbs 29:23
