His Promise Still Stands.

"This truth gives them confidence that they have eternal life, which God- who does not Leo- promised them before the world began." Titus 1:2 


God never lies to us. When he tells us something he means it. He is not like this world where people promise things they don't intend to keep, God makes promises to us forever. When the flood happened in Noah's day God promised to never flood the earth like that again, he left the rainbow as a reminder that his promise will never be taken back. When you think back to a promise God made to you, remember it's just the same as the promise he made to never flood the earth again, he means it just as much as that promise. Today if you're feeling like giving up on something because you think the promise of God is no longer standing in your life remember he never takes His words back, he never lies, he doesn't even stretch the truth. He means what He says, today lean on his promises to keep you sane in this world. You're going to be fine, you will fulfill all the plans God has set out for you, if you only believe. Here are some verses to reflect on today. "For I know the plans I have for you," says the Lord. "They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope." Jeremiah 29:11 "But if you remain in me and my word remains in you, you may ask for anything you want, and it will be granted!" John 15:7 "The Lord says, "I will rescue those who love me. I will protect those who trust in my name." Psalms 91:14

Wait Patiently!

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ If God is making you wait, then wait patiently. Nothing in the waiting is a waste. I remember a time in my life where I was praying for something, I waited years and seem to receive no answer. I waited and waited. Somedays I was impatient and cried all day, other days I waited with patience of steel and praised God for what I knew I would someday receive. Sometimes the waiting is easy, other times it is an uphill battle. Whenever we are waiting we will go through different seasons, but we can count on the fact that God is at work for us. Don't Forget God!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Don't forget God when you receive what you are praying for. God knows the things that we want the most, and often times He does give us what we want. When God does give us the things we want we have to stop and give thanks. It's like this, if you give someone a gift that you know they have really been wanting, something they will absolutely love, and they don't even say thank you it would hurt your feelings. It would make you feel like they don't appreciate you. If someone asked how they got the gift and they said they got it for themselves it would make you hurt also.
