It all works together for the good

 "And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them." Romans 8:28. This verse has been on my mind today. I seen it in a new way tonight the I really began to read it. "God causes everything to work together for the good" let's think on that for a minute. When God removes someone from our lives we don't always view it as good, when we run late for work we don't always see it as good, when it rains and we're wishing for the sun to shine we don't always see it as the good, even when were going through a hard time that we think we can't get through we don't see it as good. Here's the side you didn't see. He removed that person from your life because you were called to a higher purpose they couldn't follow you on that journey, you ran late for work because you would've been involved in a wreck if you had of left on time, you wet through that hard time to give you strength in God, it brought you closer to him. Not everything we want is what we need. Sometimes the good things in life aren't what we can see, it's what God can see. Next time you go through a little inconvenience thank God instead of fussing at him over it. Remember his plans are always good for us. Trust his plans for your life. "For I know the plans I have for you," says the Lord. "They are plans of good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope." Jeremiah 29:11

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ If God is making you wait, then wait patiently. Nothing in the waiting is a waste. I remember a time in my life where I was praying for something, I waited years and seem to receive no answer. I waited and waited. Somedays I was impatient and cried all day, other days I waited with patience of steel and praised God for what I knew I would someday receive. Sometimes the waiting is easy, other times it is an uphill battle. Whenever we are waiting we will go through different seasons, but we can count on the fact that God is at work for us. Don't Forget God!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Don't forget God when you receive what you are praying for. God knows the things that we want the most, and often times He does give us what we want. When God does give us the things we want we have to stop and give thanks. It's like this, if you give someone a gift that you know they have really been wanting, something they will absolutely love, and they don't even say thank you it would hurt your feelings. It would make you feel like they don't appreciate you. If someone asked how they got the gift and they said they got it for themselves it would make you hurt also.
