Let God Be Your Shield.

 "For the Lord God is a sun and a shield. The Lord will give grace and glory. He withholds no good thing from those who walk blamelessly." Psalm 84:11

God never wants us to see sadness and pain, he wants us to always have good things. The Lord wants us to let him be the light and shield in our lives, he wants us to experience his grace and glory, he wants to give us all the good things of life. We must be willing to accept those things though when he sends them. I myself am guilty of not wanting to accept help when needed, but when it comes to God's grace I will never been good enough to earn it, but he gives it to each of us anyways. We must accept his help, all the time. God wants us to depend on him and to put our trust in him. Today begin to give all the worries and doubts to God let him handle them, also let him show you what amazing things he has in store for you. Trust God today and welcome his wonderful grace in your life. Here are some verses reflect on today. "For you bless the godly, O Lord; you surround them with your shield of love." Psalm 5:12 "Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you." 1 Peter 5:7 "Each time he said, "My grace is all you need. My Power works best in weakness." So now I am glad to boast about my weakness, so that the power of Christ can work through me." 2 Corinthians 12:9

Wait Patiently!

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ If God is making you wait, then wait patiently. Nothing in the waiting is a waste. I remember a time in my life where I was praying for something, I waited years and seem to receive no answer. I waited and waited. Somedays I was impatient and cried all day, other days I waited with patience of steel and praised God for what I knew I would someday receive. Sometimes the waiting is easy, other times it is an uphill battle. Whenever we are waiting we will go through different seasons, but we can count on the fact that God is at work for us. Don't Forget God!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Don't forget God when you receive what you are praying for. God knows the things that we want the most, and often times He does give us what we want. When God does give us the things we want we have to stop and give thanks. It's like this, if you give someone a gift that you know they have really been wanting, something they will absolutely love, and they don't even say thank you it would hurt your feelings. It would make you feel like they don't appreciate you. If someone asked how they got the gift and they said they got it for themselves it would make you hurt also.
