Make Your Relationship Based On Christ.
"Then the Lord God said, 'it is not good that the man should be alone; I will make a helper fit for him." Genesis 2:18
When we get in a relationship sometimes we forget about God, when the case should be we help each other become closer with God. Today if you're in a relationship try to help your partner grow a better relationship with God, try doing devotions together even if they're 3 minutes a day. My husband and I before we got married had the Bible app and we done a shared a devotion, where we could also leave each other notes at the end of our readings. We all have phones, laptops or iPads so today try that. Even if it's a couples devotional it'll help you both in your daily life. When you feel like your relationship is falling apart remember to build your foundation on Christ. Couples who pray together, stay together. You have to build each other up, today help your partner pray for them without them even knowing for the things they are struggling with, and the things they don't speak of. You can make your relationship glorify God if only you try. Keep Christ in the center of your relationship, you'll never go wrong. Here are some verses to reflect on today. "There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out all fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love. We love because He first loved us." 1 John 4:18-19 "Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is Good." Romans 12:9 "Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud." 1 Corinthians 13:4 "Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance." 1 Corinthians 13:7
