A Week Can Change A lot.

 "On the seventh day God had finished his work of creation, so he rested from all his work." Genesis 2:2

So many times in my life I have been so close to giving up, so close to throwing the towel in, and I have prayed and asked God to tell me it will get better, and He will give me a time where it will be better. He will make a promise to me. Whether it be a month away or a week away, I know when God tells me something like that, that it will come to show that God was right on. I was told once that in a week things would be better, I thought to myself there is no way this is possible. Then God gave me a revelation, he said "If I made the world in seven days, imagine the things I can change in your life in the short amount of time." I then found a peace come over me, I knew I would be okay. I knew God was working it out, I was so excited. That next week came around and things were much better! When God gives you a timeline trust in Him. If things are hard this week remember a lot of things can change in one week. If you're having a bad day think of thins, "Even my worst days only last 24 hours." That has always helped me personally. God will bring you through the hard times and He can fix anything. Here are some verses too reflect on today. "For you are God, O Lord. And you have promised these good things to your servant." 1 Chronicles 17:26 "He fills mu life with good things. My youth is renewed like the eagle's!" Psalms 103:5 "For he satisfies my thirsty and fills the hungry with good things." Psalms 107:9 "You have done many good things for me, Lord, just as you promised." Psalms 119:65

Wait Patiently!

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ If God is making you wait, then wait patiently. Nothing in the waiting is a waste. I remember a time in my life where I was praying for something, I waited years and seem to receive no answer. I waited and waited. Somedays I was impatient and cried all day, other days I waited with patience of steel and praised God for what I knew I would someday receive. Sometimes the waiting is easy, other times it is an uphill battle. Whenever we are waiting we will go through different seasons, but we can count on the fact that God is at work for us. Don't Forget God!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Don't forget God when you receive what you are praying for. God knows the things that we want the most, and often times He does give us what we want. When God does give us the things we want we have to stop and give thanks. It's like this, if you give someone a gift that you know they have really been wanting, something they will absolutely love, and they don't even say thank you it would hurt your feelings. It would make you feel like they don't appreciate you. If someone asked how they got the gift and they said they got it for themselves it would make you hurt also. When God gives us what we are praying for we need to shout from the rooftops that God done it for us, that He made a way. We need to thank God, telling everyone about it.
