Be At Peace.

"And you will hear of wars and threats of wars, but don't panic. Yes, these things must take place, but the end won't follow immediately." Matthew 24:6

We are in really tough times right now with wars being talked about, we are all scared and worried. Yes I am blessed enough to live in America where we are free here, but there are soldiers who fight for our freedom. Some will even be sent to fight this war. That's a scary thing for my generation, we have never witnessed a war, everyone is talking about how a war is fixing to break loose. It's very tragic to think that there are soldiers who are going to have to fight for this country, and put their lives on the line. When we think of these things we all tend to panic, it's scary to even think about. I'm a complete over thinker, I will admit. I tend to think the worse in every situation, so when I first heard about this I was so scared. I started to think the worst, but when I found this verse I found a sense of peace. the Bible was written over 2,000 years ago, God told us these things would come to past, He also told us not to panic. He told us it will seem like the end but doesn't mean it is the end. At this time in our world, war is a very touchy subject at the moment, we are all scared and don't know what happens next. The Bible teaches us that even though we go through difficult times God is always there as our shield. Today when you see the news, read an article, or see a post try to remember God told us this would happen, He also told us this wasn't the end. We will be okay, we will make it through this. Here is some verses to reflect on today. "I search for peace; but when I speak of peace, they want war!" Psalms 120:7 "Then he will add, "Nation will go to war against nation, and kingdom against kingdom." Like 21:10 "We are human, but we don't rage war as humans do." 2 Corinthians 10:3 "Praise the Lord, who is my rock. He trains my hands for war and gives my finger skills for battle." Psalms 144:1 "A time to love and a time to hate. A time for war and a time for peace." Ecclesiastes 3:8 "Call your councils of war, but they will be worthless. Develop your stagiest, but they will not succeed. For God is with us." Isaiah 8:10
