Don't Be Lazy.

"Never be lazy, but work hard and serve the Lord enthusiastically." Romans 12:11

We all tend to be lazy at times and procrastinate, and that's okay. Even God took a day of rest after making the world. He wants us to have a day of rest, but we can't let it take over and make us live everyday like that. We have to be productive and spread the good news of Christ. I personally have a list of things I do every morning, It makes me feel productive even if it's a day I'm spending at home. Every Sunday and Monday my entire family is off work, so every Monday I try my best to get up shower, do the dishes, dust the living room and dining room and I sometimes do a little extra. I remind myself that the day before on Sunday is a day of rest from the long hard week, it's a day of peace and relaxation. The best thing we can do is set a routine for ourselves, we have to let God give us the strength to do the things needed to get done. Today be a little more hard working, when you feel lazy talk yourselves into getting up and organizing something, go for a walk, or just go help the homeless somehow. Here are some verses to reflect on today. "Lazy people are soon poor; hard workers get rich." Proverbs 10:4 "Lazy people consider themselves smarter than seven wise counselors." Proverbs 26:16 "Lazy people irritate their employers, like vinegar to the teeth or smoke in the eyes." Proverbs 10:26 "Work hard and become a leader; be lazy and become a slave." Proverbs 12:24 "And God blessed the seventh day and declared it holy, because it was the day when he rested from all his work of creation." Genesis 2:3
