Eternity Is Serious.

"From eternity to eternity I am God. No one can snatch anyone out of my hand. No one can undo what I have done." Isaiah 43:13

I was on a social media live the other night, when I couldn't sleep, I felt that I should go through each live and comment something inspirational around the lines of "Jesus loves you. No matter what you're going through it gets better. You are not alone."As I commented those words to each live I joined in on I had mostly good responses, but some not so much. One replied "Really? Thats all he told you to tell me?" I was remaining kind, and said something else politely, they then respond with "I've already realized I'm going down stairs, if you know what I mean, and I'm okay with that." That is when it hit me, people today take eternity so lightly. My dad recently preached about how once you pass away there is no going back,  no fixing mistakes, minding relationships and friendships, it's the end. No changing what you chose to do, you are judged based on the decisions you made yourself. I was so scared for the person who said that, eternity is no joking matter. Once we are gone were stuck with what we chose. When going about your life today and everyday make decisions carefully, we will all be judged on the decisions we made our self, no one can take blame for what you done. God judges each for their own. I am in tears writing this blog today, this is one of the most serious ones I've written. Please if you're reading this find a relationship with God. Grow close to him, follow his commands. Change your ways if they're not right. Here are some verses to reflect on today. "If I go up to heaven, you are there; if I go down to the grave, you are there." Psalms 139:8 "Repent of your sins and turn to God, for the Kingdom of Heaven is near." Matthew 3:2 "For her sins are piled as high as heaven, and God remembers her evil deeds." Revelations 18:5

Wait Patiently!

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ If God is making you wait, then wait patiently. Nothing in the waiting is a waste. I remember a time in my life where I was praying for something, I waited years and seem to receive no answer. I waited and waited. Somedays I was impatient and cried all day, other days I waited with patience of steel and praised God for what I knew I would someday receive. Sometimes the waiting is easy, other times it is an uphill battle. Whenever we are waiting we will go through different seasons, but we can count on the fact that God is at work for us. Don't Forget God!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Don't forget God when you receive what you are praying for. God knows the things that we want the most, and often times He does give us what we want. When God does give us the things we want we have to stop and give thanks. It's like this, if you give someone a gift that you know they have really been wanting, something they will absolutely love, and they don't even say thank you it would hurt your feelings. It would make you feel like they don't appreciate you. If someone asked how they got the gift and they said they got it for themselves it would make you hurt also. When God gives us what we are praying for we need to shout from the rooftops that God done it for us, that He made a way. We need to thank God, telling everyone about it.
