Faith Is Believing.

"Faith shows the reality of what we hope for; it is the evidence of things we cannot see." Hebrews 11:1 

I was watching a TBN the channel today and they showed where Jesus walked, and I thought wouldn't it have been amazing if Jesus had been born in today's timing, there would've been pictures made of Him, Jesus all over the news for His miracles, it would've been easier for the non-believers to see Jesus and knew Him to be true. I then realized soon as that thought was in my mind that God sent his only Son into a day where there was no proof, because believing in something that you can see is easy, but trusting God to be real is a proof of faith. He made it where we must trust Him to be real, to perform miracles, and to live in our hearts. When we believe in something God is telling us without any proof it's a real show of our faith. We prove to God that we don't only have faith we have trust in Him and His word. We believe in Him without seeing Him is amazing, today take a leap of faith and believe in something God is telling you without any proof of it happening, show Him you have the faith and you trust Him. Here are some verses to reflect on today. "God saved you by his grace when you believed. And you can't take credit for this; it is a gift from God." Ephesians 2:8 "By faith we understand that the entire universe was formed at God's command, that what we now see did not come from anything that can be seen." Hebrews 11:3 "For God so loved the world; He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life." John 3:16

Wait Patiently!

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ If God is making you wait, then wait patiently. Nothing in the waiting is a waste. I remember a time in my life where I was praying for something, I waited years and seem to receive no answer. I waited and waited. Somedays I was impatient and cried all day, other days I waited with patience of steel and praised God for what I knew I would someday receive. Sometimes the waiting is easy, other times it is an uphill battle. Whenever we are waiting we will go through different seasons, but we can count on the fact that God is at work for us. Don't Forget God!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Don't forget God when you receive what you are praying for. God knows the things that we want the most, and often times He does give us what we want. When God does give us the things we want we have to stop and give thanks. It's like this, if you give someone a gift that you know they have really been wanting, something they will absolutely love, and they don't even say thank you it would hurt your feelings. It would make you feel like they don't appreciate you. If someone asked how they got the gift and they said they got it for themselves it would make you hurt also. When God gives us what we are praying for we need to shout from the rooftops that God done it for us, that He made a way. We need to thank God, telling everyone about it.
