God Will Calm The Storm.

 "But the Lord is faithful he will strengthen you and guard you from the evil one." 2 Thessalonians 3:3

When life is hard and we feel like we have no strength to go on remember that God will give us the strength. When we feel like we can't see through the storm, and bad things keep coming God will protect you from the evil one. You don't have to worry about what people have said about you, what people wish bad on you, or what people want you to fail. At the end of the day God will protect you, and he will give you the strength to go on. Even if he lets the storms come he will help us through them, just because he allows storms isn't a bad thing, sometimes God allows bad things in our life to remind us whose in charge. I'm one who loves to be in control of things in my life, to know they will go as planned. That's not the case though, in reality we have a God who is in charge of all. No matter what the storm is in your life God is more than capable of giving you peace and stopping the storm. God sometimes will test our faith to just see if we will take that leap like Peter did. "God sometimes takes us into deep waters not to drown us but to cleans us" -unknown. I know how it feels to be in a raging storm but God will teach you something in your storm, and he will protect you. You will make it out okay. Here are some verses to reflect on today. "And since the storm was getting worse all the time, they asked him, "What should we do to you to stop this storm?" Jonah 1:11 "He calmed the storm to a whisper and stilled the waves." Psalms 107:29 "Each time he said, "My grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness." So now I am glad to boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ can work through me." 2 Corinthians 12:9 "The disciples went and woke him up, shouting, "Lord, save us! We're going to drown!" Jesus responded, "Why are you afraid? You have so little faith!" Then he got up and rebuked the wind and waves, and suddenly there was a great calm." Matthew 8:25-26

Wait Patiently!

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ If God is making you wait, then wait patiently. Nothing in the waiting is a waste. I remember a time in my life where I was praying for something, I waited years and seem to receive no answer. I waited and waited. Somedays I was impatient and cried all day, other days I waited with patience of steel and praised God for what I knew I would someday receive. Sometimes the waiting is easy, other times it is an uphill battle. Whenever we are waiting we will go through different seasons, but we can count on the fact that God is at work for us. The waiting is important and a lesson is somewhere in the midst. Today, whatever it is God is having you wait for know that the season of waiting is often a time you look back on as a blessing. Don't Forget God!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Don't forget God when you receive what you are praying for. God knows the things that we want the most, and often times He does give us what we want. When God does give us the things we want we have to stop and give thanks. It's like this, if you give someone a gift that you know they have really been wanting, something they will absolutely love, and they don't even say thank you it would hurt your feelings. It would make you feel like they don't appreciate you. If someone asked how they got the gift and they said they got it for themselves it would make you hurt also.
