Show Love To Others.
"But the person who loves God is one whom God recognizes." 1 Corinthians 8:3
We have to have the love of God in order for him to recognize us. Loving God and having His love inside is are two different things completely. I believe this verse is meaning we must have His love in us. If we only love God we could be distant from Him, hate others, be unkind, and be everything we as Christians shouldn't be. If we have God's love in us, we want to live like him. We want to love people the way Jesus does, we want to help others like Christ, we want to convert sinners into saints. We want people to live a godly life with us, we want others to share in the heavenly home with us. God wants us to be kind and show others the good in being Christians, not the like the ones who judge others. If the first impression of us to a non-Christian is us judging them they're going to think that's all we care about. People always ask me when I invite them to church what they should wear, some say I don't have a dress, and my response never changes I always reply, "It doesn't matter what you wear as long as you come, we won't judge you." I've seen people walk into my church in sweatpants and a tee shirt, we didn't treat them any different than all the ones dressed up. That's how we should be everyday to people, it doesn't matter what they wear, how the look or act, we have to let God deal with that. If we let God handle the rest we will never go wrong. Love in all spaces of your life and you will never go wrong. Here are some verses to reflect on today. "Do not judge others, and you will not be judged." Matthew 7:1 "You judge me by human standards, but I do not judge anyone." John 8:15 "I will not judge those who hear me but do obey me, for I have come to save the world and not to judge it." John 12:47 "God sent his Son into the world not to judge the world, but to save the world through him." John 3:17 "Do not judge others, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn others, or it will all come back against you. Forgive others, and you will be forgiven." Luke 6:37
