Stick To Your Desires.

"Watch out that you do no lose what we have worked so hard to achieve. Be diligent so that you receive your full reward." 2 John 1:8

When God puts a desire in your heart we have to stick to it for our full reward, we have to remember that God puts desires in our hearts for a reason. The Bible tells us that God will give us the desires of our heart, when we start a task for God I know it's hard to stick to it sometimes. It doesn't matter if you was called to be a Sunday school teacher, a door greeter for the church, someone who cleans the church, or just someone who spreads the word at work or school, Jesus called you to do that for a reason. He sees the potential you have, He knows you're more than able to succeed as what He called for you to do, when God puts a desire in our hearts whether it be career path, to be a spouse, to be a good mom someday, to be a friend always, or even to be something in the ministry he knows the future and knows we are able. He knows that if you desire it enough you'll do your best and God will do the rest for you. He will open the doors you can't open, move the blocks from your path, and change hards for you to achieve all he has planned for you. When you feel lost in your desires because things aren't coming in time remember God knew it would come to this, he knew you would feel lost but he can make a way for the blessings to flow in. He has done it for so many people in the Bible, he made a way for him though times that seemed uncertain, I mean look how He came to the earth from a virgin who was engaged to a human, He made  Abraham have a baby at 100,He made Esther queen even though she was a jew, He made the Red Sea part for the Israelites, He save Daniel in the lions den He shut the mouth of the lions, and He put Jonah in a whale just to get him to listen to him but saved him from any harm. God will always save us form harm if only we put all our trust in Him alone. Here are verses to reflect on today. "Very early the next morning, the ling got up and hurried out to the lion's den." Daniel 6:19 "If you keep quiet at a time like this, deliverance and relief for the Jews will arise from some other place, but you and your relatives will die. Who knows if perhaps you were made queen for just such a time as this?" Esther 4:14 "Now the Lord had arranged for a great fish to swallow Jonah. And Jonah was inside the fish for three days and three nights." Jonah 1:17 "And Abraham's faith did not weaken, even though, at about 100 years of age, He figured his body was as good as dead- and so was Sarah's womb." Romans 4:19  "Mary asked the angel, "But how can this happen? I am a virgin." Luke 1:34 "Give thanks to him who parted the Red Sea. His faithful love endures forever." Psalms 126:13
