You're Blessed.

"As the Scriptures say, "If you want to boast, boast only about the Lord." 2 Corinthians 10:17

We all want to brag about how good of a grade we get on a test, when we get a new car, new house, nicer clothes, or the newest shoes and it's okay to be thankful but it's not good to boast and make others feel like the don't have enough. We all are blessed in different ways, we have to remember that the greatest blessing ever is for all of us, freedom in Christ. He came down to earth, and died for our sins. He was the greatest blessing to ever happen. Next time you hear others bragging on the new things they get and you seem to feel bad because maybe you don't have the newest phone, car, house, clothes or shoes remember you're not lacking in what really matters. The Bible tells us to focus on things above not things on earth, those things will fade away but the word of God will stand forever. We have to share what we know about Christ to help others find the best blessing of all. When you're struggling with not feeling like you fit in, remember you always fit in with the right people meant for your life, you will find that your most genuine friends are the ones sent to you from God at some of the most difficult times in your life. Be thankful for your blessings, and your friends that God blesses you with. Here are some verses to reflect on today. "Think about things of heaven, not the things of earth." Colossians 3:2 "And let the peace that comes from Christ rule in your hearts. For as members of one body you are called to live in peace. And always be thankful." Colossians 3:15 "And whatever you do or say, do it as a representative of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks through him to God the Father." Colossians 3:17 "Don't worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done." Philippians 4:6
