You’re Not Alone

“Peter said to him, “Even if everyone else deserts you, I never will.” Jesus replied, “I tell you the truth, Peter—this very night, before the rooster crows twice, you will deny three times that you even know me.””

When people say the will never leave our side and will always be there sometimes they mean it but things come up and they can’t or they end up leaving. It hurts us, I’ve been there and been though it. It can break your heart into pieces, but God isn’t like that. God doesn’t promise to be there and get tired and leave, or get too busy for us. He is there no matter what. Peter told Jesus he would be there when he was raised from the dead, but Jesus knew he wouldn't be. Jesus knew Peter was going to betray him. God knows it all. God sees the people that take advantage of you, He sees the ones who betrayed you, He sees ones to left when times got hard for you. He will take care of those who do you wrong if you only be still. You shouldn’t take revenge, let God handle it. Those who left you, will find in the end it was their loss, not yours. God will send you the right people at the right time. You only need to pray and ask God to send you the right friends. Even when people leave God will send you more, you have God. You are never alone. Here are some verses to reflect on today! “This I declare about the Lord: He alone is my refuge, my place of safety; he is my God, and I trust him.” Psalms‬ ‭91:2‬ ‭ “So you see, we are shown to be right with God by what we do, not by faith alone.”‭‭ James‬ ‭2:24 “He alone is my rock and my salvation, my fortress where I will not be shaken.” Psalms‬ ‭62:6‬ ‭

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ If God is making you wait, then wait patiently. Nothing in the waiting is a waste. I remember a time in my life where I was praying for something, I waited years and seem to receive no answer. I waited and waited. Somedays I was impatient and cried all day, other days I waited with patience of steel and praised God for what I knew I would someday receive. Sometimes the waiting is easy, other times it is an uphill battle. Whenever we are waiting we will go through different seasons, but we can count on the fact that God is at work for us. Don't Forget God!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Don't forget God when you receive what you are praying for. God knows the things that we want the most, and often times He does give us what we want. When God does give us the things we want we have to stop and give thanks. It's like this, if you give someone a gift that you know they have really been wanting, something they will absolutely love, and they don't even say thank you it would hurt your feelings. It would make you feel like they don't appreciate you. If someone asked how they got the gift and they said they got it for themselves it would make you hurt also.
