Be Kind Where It's Difficult.

"Let them turn the other cheek to those who strike them and accept the insults of their enemies." Lamentations 3:30

When someone hurts or insults you, you tend to want to snap back with a insulting remark, we all want to. The best thing for us to do is turn the other cheek and walk away. We have to be patient and kind, no matter how others treat us. I've been through it before where someone snaps at me and I want to be rude in return, but I remember that I have no idea if they've had a bad day, or they're going through silent battles, so I remain quite and patient. I walk away and go on about my own business. It's hard when we get hurt by others for their actions to remain kind, quite, and the best Christians we can be. Next time someone hurts you, turn the other cheek and walk away. Be patient, be kind, love where it is difficult and let God handle those who come against you. You can't manipulate a situation you leave in God's hands, you have to let it go, and let Him handle it.  You're the only person who can stop others words and actions from bothering you, you have to let go of how they feel towards you and let God be God and love the pain away form your heart. I listened to a sermon by Joel Osteen titled "Let go",it spoke to me so much and reminded me to let go of the hurt I feel when others are rude. Be patient, you never know what others are going through. Here are some verses to reflect on today. "Instead, be kind to each other, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as God through Christ has forgiven you." Ephesians 4:32 "But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness," Galatians 5:22 "Do to others as you would like them to do to you." Luke 6:31 "See that no one pays back evil for evil, but always try to do good to each other and to all people." 1 Thessalonians 5:15
