Faith Is Useless Without Works.

"So you see, faith by itself isn't enough. Unless it produces good deeds, it is dead and useless." James 2:17

When the Bible tells us about faith God doesn't expect us to pray, and tell him how much faith we have then do nothing about it. When we have faith in God we have to let that produce good deeds. We have to let God shine though us so others see our faith. We can't go out and help the homeless, feed the poor, and clothe the homeless and except to get something out of it, or expect people to praise us. That isn't what it's about, it's about going out doing things we feel God told us to do that would let his light shine though us. No credit for ourselves in the outcome, just God to be praised. When we say we have faith, we have to let it shine, we have to let others know there is a God who loves us more than anything else, that He's standing there waiting on us to take that first step of faith. He wants us to show him that we are willing and ready to be used in the kingdom of God. The Bible also tells us faith is useless without work, and that is so true. We have to work and show God we've changed and have faith. Here are some verses to reflect on today. "Faith shows the reality of what we hope for; it is the evidence of things we cannot see." Hebrews 11:1 "By faith we understand that the entire universe was formed at God's command, that what we now see did not come from anything that can be seen." Hebrews 11:3 "And it is impossible to please God without faith. Anyone who wants to come to him must believe that God exist and that he rewards those who sincerely seek him." Hebrews 11:6 "For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life." John 3:16
