God Is Always There.

 "Never stop praying." 1 Thessalonians 5:17 

When we are in some of the hardest times in our lives it's easy for us to be close to God and cling to him during the pain, the real test is when we get what we prayed for to stay close to him. God changed each of us into new creations when we became Christ-like, we have to keep that state of mind when things are easy in life, we have to cling to his presence, and his peace, no matter how our life is going. There is this song that I absolutely love, it's by Tauren Wells, the lyrics go like this, "In the valley, I will lift my eyes, to the one who sees me there, when I'm standing on the mountain I didn't get there on my own, when I'm walking through the valley and no, I'm not alone." We have to praise God just as much on the mountain as we do in the valleys. He's the God that has brought you through every bad day you didn't think you'd make it through, and he's been beside you on your very best days. No matter what kind of day you're having you have to keep close to God. You can't let your relationship fade with him just because your day has been so good and so busy. I personally remember it like this, I can't forget to thank God for this day He's given me, He didn't forget to wake me up this morning. He remembered me, how could I forget Him. When He was on the cross the day of crucifixion He remembered each of us, when He formed us each in our mothers womb He made us perfect in his image, when he woke you and I up this morning He knew the plan of how today would go. He knows what the devil is throwing at you, He knows how much strength you need to get you through that storm. He knows and sees all, He will never leave you if only you cling to Him at all times. We have to remember God when we get what we are praying for. Here are some verses to reflect on today. "Suddenly, the glory of the God of Israel was there, just as I had seen it before in the valley." Ezekiel 8:4 "Even when I walk through the darkest valley, I will not be afraid, for you are close beside me. Your rod and your staff protect and comfort me." Psalms 23:4 "When they walk through the Valley of Weeping, it will become a place of refreshing springs. The autumn rains will clothe it with blessings." Psalms 84:6 "Go and walk through the land in every direction, for I am giving it to you." Genesis 13:17 "

Wait Patiently!

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ If God is making you wait, then wait patiently. Nothing in the waiting is a waste. I remember a time in my life where I was praying for something, I waited years and seem to receive no answer. I waited and waited. Somedays I was impatient and cried all day, other days I waited with patience of steel and praised God for what I knew I would someday receive. Sometimes the waiting is easy, other times it is an uphill battle. Whenever we are waiting we will go through different seasons, but we can count on the fact that God is at work for us. Don't Forget God!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Don't forget God when you receive what you are praying for. God knows the things that we want the most, and often times He does give us what we want. When God does give us the things we want we have to stop and give thanks. It's like this, if you give someone a gift that you know they have really been wanting, something they will absolutely love, and they don't even say thank you it would hurt your feelings. It would make you feel like they don't appreciate you. If someone asked how they got the gift and they said they got it for themselves it would make you hurt also.
