God Is At Work For YOU!

"For God is working in you, giving you the desire and the power to do what pleases him." Philippians 2:13

God came to me today, and revealed something amazing to me. I've been praying over a situation, and He keeps showing me that it's changing, and when it does, it will change very quickly. I have felt discouraged because I seen no change. He showed me in a way I could truly understand what He meant. He said, "When it's cloudy at night, and you can't see the moon it doesn't mean it's not there anymore, it's the same as when you can't see God doing anything, it doesn't mean He isn't working." I instantly understood all He has been saying to me, that just because I don't see it, He's working. We all know the song "Way Maker" in that song the lyrics say, "Even when I don't see it you're working, even when I don't feel it you're working. You never stop, you never stop working." Rest easy tonight, knowing God is at work in your lives, no matter what you're dealing with God is at work behind the scenes. You're about to see how big and how great God really is. Here are some verses to reflect on today. "O Israel, can I not do you as this potter has done to his clay? As the clay is in the potter's hand, so are you in my hand." Jeremiah 18:6 "But Jesus replied, "My father is always working, and so am I." John 5:17 "God works different ways, but it is the same God who does the work in all of us." 1 Corinthians 12:6 "Give your burdens to the Lord, and he will take care of you. He will not permit the godly to slip and fall." Psalms 55:22

Wait Patiently!

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ If God is making you wait, then wait patiently. Nothing in the waiting is a waste. I remember a time in my life where I was praying for something, I waited years and seem to receive no answer. I waited and waited. Somedays I was impatient and cried all day, other days I waited with patience of steel and praised God for what I knew I would someday receive. Sometimes the waiting is easy, other times it is an uphill battle. Whenever we are waiting we will go through different seasons, but we can count on the fact that God is at work for us. Don't Forget God!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Don't forget God when you receive what you are praying for. God knows the things that we want the most, and often times He does give us what we want. When God does give us the things we want we have to stop and give thanks. It's like this, if you give someone a gift that you know they have really been wanting, something they will absolutely love, and they don't even say thank you it would hurt your feelings. It would make you feel like they don't appreciate you. If someone asked how they got the gift and they said they got it for themselves it would make you hurt also. When God gives us what we are praying for we need to shout from the rooftops that God done it for us, that He made a way. We need to thank God, telling everyone about it.
