Let God In, He's Knocking.

 "Look! I stand at the door and knock. If you hear my voice and open the door, I will come in, and we will share a meal together as friends." Revelation 3:19 

Everyone of us have the same advantage of having a relationship with God. He stands at the door for all of us knocking wanting us to let Him in. He is always ready for us to open the door of our hearts and welcome Him in. He wants us to want a relationship with Him though. He can't make you want to have a relationship with Him. I read a quote the other day and it hit really hard, "It's hard to believe that He will leave the 99 to save the 1, until you're that one." It's so true when you think about it, how many times in your life have you ran from God, and the second you realized that you messed up He was there for you immediately, to rescue you. You have to let go of what others will say about you if you "change", it doesn't matter what they say. The most important thing in our lives in our relationship with God. Focus more on God knocking and you letting him in. Today take a step closer to God, and further from the world. Here are some verses to reflect on today."And if he finds it, I tell you the truth, he will rejoice over it more than over the ninety-nine that didn't wander away!" Matthew 18:13"If a man has a hundred sheep and one of them gets lost, what will he do? Won't he leave the ninety-nine others in the wilderness and go search for the one that is lost until he finds it?" "In the same way, there is more joy in heaven over one lost sinner who repents and returns to God than over the ninety-nine others who are righteous and haven't strayed away." Luke 15:7 "The Lord stands at your right hand to protect you. He will strike down many kings when his anger erupts." Psalms 110:5

Wait Patiently!

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ If God is making you wait, then wait patiently. Nothing in the waiting is a waste. I remember a time in my life where I was praying for something, I waited years and seem to receive no answer. I waited and waited. Somedays I was impatient and cried all day, other days I waited with patience of steel and praised God for what I knew I would someday receive. Sometimes the waiting is easy, other times it is an uphill battle. Whenever we are waiting we will go through different seasons, but we can count on the fact that God is at work for us. Don't Forget God!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Don't forget God when you receive what you are praying for. God knows the things that we want the most, and often times He does give us what we want. When God does give us the things we want we have to stop and give thanks. It's like this, if you give someone a gift that you know they have really been wanting, something they will absolutely love, and they don't even say thank you it would hurt your feelings. It would make you feel like they don't appreciate you. If someone asked how they got the gift and they said they got it for themselves it would make you hurt also.
