Pray For Others.
"Do to others whatever you would like them to do to you. This is the essence of all that is taught in the law and the prophets."Matthew 7:12
Prayer is one of the most common things in our Christian Religion, we all do it when things strike us down, hurt us, or when we are thanking God. I seen a new view on this verse today though, the Bible tells us in this verse to treat others as we want to be treated. When someone ask us to pray with them or for them, we need to pray, not for something in return, just out of our own kindness. Us doing this is us proving this verse, showing that we can do so. We have to be true servants of God helping all the needs of our brothers and sisters. We have to be kind in order to get the same in return, yes there are some people left in this world, where they are kind no matter how the other person treats them. Next time someone ask for prayer take a few minutes out of your day to pray with them. Think about it as if you were asking the same in return, treat it as you would want them to treat you. Think about it like this, how would you feel if they brushed you off? It would hurt you right? Next time whether you see it on social media or someone comes to you asking for prayer, stop what you're doing and pray. Do to them as you would want them to do to you. Prayer is one of the most powerful things in our lives, it's the way we communicate with God. Whether you are asking for something, thanking him for something, or even just talking to Him, He wants to communicate with you. Stop for a few minutes and pray. Pray for those you know need it, have a conversation, just talk to God today. Here are some verses to reflect on today. "Don't worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done." Philippians 4:6 "Never stop praying." 1 Thessalonians 5:17 "Pray in the Spirit at all times and on every occasion. Stay alert and be persistent in your prayers for all believers everywhere." Ephesians 6:18 "But if you remain in me and my words remain in you, you may ask for anything you want and it will be granted!" John 15:7
