Show The Fruits Of The Spirit.

 "But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patiences, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self control. There is no law against these things!" Galatians 5:22

When we learn the fruits of the Spirit, we realize that God put these things in our lives when we turn to Him. We realize that the love we have is from God, He brings us joy, He gives us His peace, He teaches us patiences, He teaches us to be more kind, He shows us His goodness, He shows us how faithful He is as we should be, He teaches us His gentleness and how to use to with others, and He teaches us self control in all situations. If you notice the closer you get to God the more you use these things, the things that use to sit you on fire and make you so heated, no longer bother you as much. You learn to be kind in all situations no matter how upset you get, because you learn to be like Jesus. Forgiving and kind no matter the situation. Today do a random act of kindness, it could go a long ways. You never know you could help save a soul by showing God's love to others. Learn to show the fruits of the spirit, not just know them. Here are some verses to reflect on today. "Let us not become conceited, or provoke one another, or be jealous of one another." Galatians 5:26 "He even caused their captors to treat them with kindness." Psalms 106:46 "But- When God our Savior revealed his kindness and love," Titus 3:4 "The Lord is righteous in everything he does; he is filled with kindness." Psalms 145:17

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ If God is making you wait, then wait patiently. Nothing in the waiting is a waste. I remember a time in my life where I was praying for something, I waited years and seem to receive no answer. I waited and waited. Somedays I was impatient and cried all day, other days I waited with patience of steel and praised God for what I knew I would someday receive. Sometimes the waiting is easy, other times it is an uphill battle. Whenever we are waiting we will go through different seasons, but we can count on the fact that God is at work for us. Don't Forget God!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Don't forget God when you receive what you are praying for. God knows the things that we want the most, and often times He does give us what we want. When God does give us the things we want we have to stop and give thanks. It's like this, if you give someone a gift that you know they have really been wanting, something they will absolutely love, and they don't even say thank you it would hurt your feelings. It would make you feel like they don't appreciate you. If someone asked how they got the gift and they said they got it for themselves it would make you hurt also.
