Suffer For The Good.

"But it is no shame to suffer for being a Christian. Praise God for the privilege of being called by his name!" 1 Peter 4:16 

Something no one wants to hear is how we will suffer as Christians, there will be times in our walk with Christ where others can tell that we are so called different, they will look at us and some might even make fun of us. That's okay though, even though they make fun of us, laugh about it, and talk behind our backs but it doesn't matter. What matters is our walk with Christ. Those people will understand one day why you are the way you are. Don't let them change you. You're about to see God bless you in front of those who embarrassed, betrayed, and made fun of you. He is always on the Christian side, the Bible tells us that no weapon formed against us will stand, so don't let them bother you. Let God shine though you for all to see, don't let the devil distract you from what you are called to do! Here are some verses to reflect on today. "You intended to harm me, but God intended it all for good. He brought me to this position so I could save the lives of many people." Genesis 50:20 "And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them." Romans 8:28 "Remember, it is better to suffer for doing good, if that is what God wants, than to suffer for doing wrong!" 1 Peter 3:17 "For we are God's masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago." Ephesians 2:10

Wait Patiently!

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ If God is making you wait, then wait patiently. Nothing in the waiting is a waste. I remember a time in my life where I was praying for something, I waited years and seem to receive no answer. I waited and waited. Somedays I was impatient and cried all day, other days I waited with patience of steel and praised God for what I knew I would someday receive. Sometimes the waiting is easy, other times it is an uphill battle. Whenever we are waiting we will go through different seasons, but we can count on the fact that God is at work for us. Don't Forget God!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Don't forget God when you receive what you are praying for. God knows the things that we want the most, and often times He does give us what we want. When God does give us the things we want we have to stop and give thanks. It's like this, if you give someone a gift that you know they have really been wanting, something they will absolutely love, and they don't even say thank you it would hurt your feelings. It would make you feel like they don't appreciate you. If someone asked how they got the gift and they said they got it for themselves it would make you hurt also.
