Unlocking God's Purpose
"And say to Archippus, "Be sure to carry out the ministry the Lord gave you." Colossians 4:17
I'm twenty-one years old, and this year I just found my purpose and how I could start my ministry, I always knew I had a calling but didn't know where to begin. I knew God placed on my heart to start writing, I assumed it was a book but never knew where to begin. I then started to look for places to start a blog, many of them charged way too much monthly, that's when I found blogger.com, this site was perfect for what I needed to start. As I started these I never knew it would become a daily thing, I assumed maybe once a week, but God told me to do more. I was thinking how can I come up with something to write on the daily, here I am at day seventy-seven, still having God show me things I never seen before in the Bible. Ideas come flooding in daily, I'm so blessed to be used by God to spread his word. If you are looking for your calling in God, maybe He is showing it to you but you're not understanding correctly. I had to pray a lot for the courage to this, and I'm so thankful I found it. If you are looking for your calling dig deep into God's word, let Him open up thoughts on the Bible you never seen before, you have to learn to interpret the Bible to understand why things are the way they are today. God tells us that the world will become wicked, and full of evil. The closer you get to God the closer you are to understanding your purpose in Him, you have to trust God fully to open the doors for your future at the best time possible for you. He knows what you need, when you need it. God keeps telling me that my name is being said in rooms I never walked in before, which means my ministry is fulfilling in front of me. I'm getting closer everyday to my true purpose. You have to let God open the doors for your future, I'm not saying sit back let Him do all the work, but if you do what you can, He will do what you can't. Here are some verses to reflect on today. "Though his ministry follows mine, I'm not even worthy to be his slave and untie the straps of his sandal" John 1:27 "The apostles returned to Jesus from their ministry tour and told him all they had done and taught." Mark 6:30 "And you must also testify about me because you have been with me from the beginning of my ministry." John 15:27 "We live in such a way that no one will stumble because of us, and no one will find fault with our ministry." 2 Corinthians 6:3
