Be Prepared,To Share The Good News.

 "Preach the word of God. Be prepared, whether the time is favorable or not. Patiently correct, rebuke, and encourage your people with good teaching." 2 Timothy 4:2

Something we all need to do is be prepared to tell of Jesus no matter what situation we are in and no matter where we are. We have to be prepared to answer questions of why we believe what we do. I've had so many people ask me what makes you believe in God, and my answer is to help them understand I say, "You believe in oxygen and air right? Even though, you can't see it you know it's there no matter where you're at. That's how we as Christians are, no matter where we are we know God is there even if we can't see Him." Most start to think on my answer, and don't say much more. Sometimes spreading the Good News of Jesus Christ isn't so much telling them everything about him, but telling them what God has done for you. Today inspire someone with Jesus. Share the Good News in the best way possible, always be prepared to tell of Jesus. Here are some verses to reflect on today. " And there they preached the Good News." Acts 14:7"A cheerful look brings joy to the heart; good news makes for good health." Proverbs 15:30 "The Lord gives the word, and a great army brings the good news." Psalms 68:11 "Good news from far away is like cold water the the thirsty." Proverbs 25:25

Wait Patiently!

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ If God is making you wait, then wait patiently. Nothing in the waiting is a waste. I remember a time in my life where I was praying for something, I waited years and seem to receive no answer. I waited and waited. Somedays I was impatient and cried all day, other days I waited with patience of steel and praised God for what I knew I would someday receive. Sometimes the waiting is easy, other times it is an uphill battle. Whenever we are waiting we will go through different seasons, but we can count on the fact that God is at work for us. Don't Forget God!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Don't forget God when you receive what you are praying for. God knows the things that we want the most, and often times He does give us what we want. When God does give us the things we want we have to stop and give thanks. It's like this, if you give someone a gift that you know they have really been wanting, something they will absolutely love, and they don't even say thank you it would hurt your feelings. It would make you feel like they don't appreciate you. If someone asked how they got the gift and they said they got it for themselves it would make you hurt also. When God gives us what we are praying for we need to shout from the rooftops that God done it for us, that He made a way. We need to thank God, telling everyone about it.
