Don't ask why, ask what can I learn.
"For just as the heavens are higher than the earth, so my ways are higher than your ways, and my thoughts higher than your thoughts." Isaiah 55:9
So many times we question "Why?" Why God am I going through this. Why am I being broken down? Why am I still hurting? Why haven't I got a breakthrough? Why haven't I met the person of my dreams? Why haven't I finally seen that change I've been praying so desperately for? Today, I'm here to tell you, find peace in where you're at. Find patience in this storm. God is always teaching us something. See if life was all sunshine and rainbows what would we learn? We would take so many things for granted that we have each day, we have to be thankful we woke up this morning. We have to be thankful for the little things in life that God has blessed us with. Today instead of asking why, ask God, "What can I learn from this today?" Here are some verses to reflect on. "Why am I discouraged? Why is my heart so sad? I will put my hope in God! I will praise him again- my Savior and my God!" Psalms 42:11 "That is why I tell you not to worry about everyday life-- whether you have enough food and drink, or enough clothes to wear. Isn't life more than food, your body more than clothing?" Matthew 6:25 "Then he asked them, "Why are you afraid? Do you still have no faith?" Mark 4:40 "God saved you by his grace when you believed. And you can't take credit for this; it is a gift from God." Ephesians 2:8
