Don't Let Anger Have A Hold On You.

"For anger gives a foothold to the devil." Ephesians 4:27 

When we let anger get the best of us that becomes a way in for the devil to control us and our minds. We have to learn to think things through when someone smarts off to us, picks us in the wrong place, and gets under our skin. We have to learn to be patient in all situations, never let someone know they're upsetting you. Put a smile on your face, be kind and walk away. Don't let them get the best of you. See, things sometimes look like someone just irritating you, but often times it's a test from the devil trying to get you. Today be kind when someone makes you a little mad, don't let that anger get you down, and don't let it show. Here are some verses to reflect on today. "And "don't sin by letting anger control you." Don't let the sun go down while you are still anger," Ephesians 4:26 "Understand this, my dear brothers and sisters: You must all be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to get angry." James 1:19 "Human anger does not produce the righteousness God desires." James 1:20 "Instead, be kind to each other, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as God through Christ has forgiven you." Ephesians 4:32

Wait Patiently!

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ If God is making you wait, then wait patiently. Nothing in the waiting is a waste. I remember a time in my life where I was praying for something, I waited years and seem to receive no answer. I waited and waited. Somedays I was impatient and cried all day, other days I waited with patience of steel and praised God for what I knew I would someday receive. Sometimes the waiting is easy, other times it is an uphill battle. Whenever we are waiting we will go through different seasons, but we can count on the fact that God is at work for us. Don't Forget God!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Don't forget God when you receive what you are praying for. God knows the things that we want the most, and often times He does give us what we want. When God does give us the things we want we have to stop and give thanks. It's like this, if you give someone a gift that you know they have really been wanting, something they will absolutely love, and they don't even say thank you it would hurt your feelings. It would make you feel like they don't appreciate you. If someone asked how they got the gift and they said they got it for themselves it would make you hurt also.
