Don't Let Freedom Lead You Astray.

"But you must be careful so that your freedom does not cause others with a weaker conscience to stumble." 1 Corinthians 8:9

See we are free in Christ Jesus, but we do have to be careful not to let that freedom go too far and lead us back into out sinful ways. When you feel like you are on the right path doing all you can do to be the best version of yourself, don't let that get in your head too much and cause you to stumble. We have to make sure we are staying on the right path and not falling, we are meant to be free from sin, anxiety, depression, stress, and sickness. We all though cannot let ourselves get too free and go back to the ways of sin. Stick to Jesus today, let Him lead the way. Here are some verses to reflect on today. "So because of your superior knowledge, a weak believer for whom Christ died will be destroyed." 1 Corinthians 8:11 "So Christ has truly set us free. Now make sure that you stay free, and don't get tied up again in slavery to the law." Galatians 5:1 "For you have been called to live in freedom, my brothers and sisters. But don't use your freedom to satisfy your sinful nature. Instead, use your freedom to serve one another in love." Galatians 5:13 "And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free." John 8:32

Wait Patiently!

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ If God is making you wait, then wait patiently. Nothing in the waiting is a waste. I remember a time in my life where I was praying for something, I waited years and seem to receive no answer. I waited and waited. Somedays I was impatient and cried all day, other days I waited with patience of steel and praised God for what I knew I would someday receive. Sometimes the waiting is easy, other times it is an uphill battle. Whenever we are waiting we will go through different seasons, but we can count on the fact that God is at work for us. Don't Forget God!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Don't forget God when you receive what you are praying for. God knows the things that we want the most, and often times He does give us what we want. When God does give us the things we want we have to stop and give thanks. It's like this, if you give someone a gift that you know they have really been wanting, something they will absolutely love, and they don't even say thank you it would hurt your feelings. It would make you feel like they don't appreciate you. If someone asked how they got the gift and they said they got it for themselves it would make you hurt also.
