Let God Renew Your Thoughts.

 "Instead, let the Spirit renew your thoughts and attitudes." Ephesians 4:23

See we all have to start our journey with God by letting him renew us, we have to be open to change.See there are times in our lives where we are so ready to do something we want that we forget to include God and see His plan, and if what we want is according to his plans. We have to stop and and let God guide our steps. Today start by renewing our thoughts and focusing on God's plans not our own. Today let God renew your thoughts and attitudes. Here are some verses to reflect on today. "Put on your new nature created to be like God- truly righteous and holy." Ephesians 4:24 "Search me, O God, and now my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts." Psalms 139:23 "You will keep in perfect peace all who trust in you, all whose thoughts are fixed on you!" Isaiah 26:3 "My thoughts are nothing like your thoughts," says the Lord. "And my ways are far beyond anything you could imagine." Isaiah 55:8

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ If God is making you wait, then wait patiently. Nothing in the waiting is a waste. I remember a time in my life where I was praying for something, I waited years and seem to receive no answer. I waited and waited. Somedays I was impatient and cried all day, other days I waited with patience of steel and praised God for what I knew I would someday receive. Sometimes the waiting is easy, other times it is an uphill battle. Whenever we are waiting we will go through different seasons, but we can count on the fact that God is at work for us. Don't Forget God!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Don't forget God when you receive what you are praying for. God knows the things that we want the most, and often times He does give us what we want. When God does give us the things we want we have to stop and give thanks. It's like this, if you give someone a gift that you know they have really been wanting, something they will absolutely love, and they don't even say thank you it would hurt your feelings. It would make you feel like they don't appreciate you. If someone asked how they got the gift and they said they got it for themselves it would make you hurt also.
