Let God Send The Right Friends.
"Of course, your former friends are suprised when you no longer plunge into the flood of wild and destructive things they do. They slander you." 1 Peter 4:4
Everyone goes through this at some point in their lives, I was younger when I gave my life to Christ, in the start of my teen years, at that time I did lose some friends. I wasn't interested in the things I use to have in common with them, I didn't have the attitude I did before that made me fit in so well, I didn't dress the same as them anymore, I even changed the way I talked, I no longer entertained the pointless conversations of gossip I use to be so invested in before Christ. That's how it is sometimes for us though we have to separate ourselves from the world. Sometimes God will isolate you to elevate you, just because you're going through a time where all your friends turned away doesn't mean you're not on the right path, it actually means the opposite, that you are on the right path. Let God clear your path, taking those friends who are leading you astray from Him out of your life and replace them with the people who are there to uplift, encourage, and help you. Here are some verses to reflect on today. "Don't be fooled by those who say such things, for "bad company corrupts good character." 1 Corinthians 15:33 "Don't befriend angry people or associate with hot-tempered people." Proverbs 22:24 "Walk with the wise and become wise; associate with fools and get in trouble." Proverbs 13:20 "Wounds from a sincere friend are better than many kisses from an enemy." Proverbs 27:6
