Live By His Power.

 "For the Kingdom of God is not just a lot of talk; it is living by God's power." 1 Corinthians 4:20

See we all are capable of talking like Christians, but to act like one is a completely different thing, we have to start to act like a Christian. We have to live by God's power, not by our words.We do have the power to speak things, good things, but we have to live by God. We also have to have attitudes like we live as Christ did. Start today not by just speaking, but start living by God's power and His truth. Here are some verses to reflect on today. "God has called us to live holy lives, not impure lives." 1 Thessalonians 4:7 "Those who say they live in God should live their lives as Jesus did." 1 John 2:6 "So be careful how you live. Don't live like fools, but like those who are wise." Ephesians 5:15 "Soon the world will no longer see me, but you will see me. Since I live, you also will live." John 14:19

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ If God is making you wait, then wait patiently. Nothing in the waiting is a waste. I remember a time in my life where I was praying for something, I waited years and seem to receive no answer. I waited and waited. Somedays I was impatient and cried all day, other days I waited with patience of steel and praised God for what I knew I would someday receive. Sometimes the waiting is easy, other times it is an uphill battle. Whenever we are waiting we will go through different seasons, but we can count on the fact that God is at work for us. Don't Forget God!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Don't forget God when you receive what you are praying for. God knows the things that we want the most, and often times He does give us what we want. When God does give us the things we want we have to stop and give thanks. It's like this, if you give someone a gift that you know they have really been wanting, something they will absolutely love, and they don't even say thank you it would hurt your feelings. It would make you feel like they don't appreciate you. If someone asked how they got the gift and they said they got it for themselves it would make you hurt also.
