Live In Freedom.

"For the Lord is the Spirit, and wherever the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom." 2 Corinthians 3:17

If you are a Christian and the Spirit lives in you, then you are free. You're free from depression, anxiety, sickness, stress, even sin. We will have hardships and trials, but wherever we are the spirit of the Lord is, and there is freedom. God doesn't want us to constantly live in fear. We have to give the burdens that are too heavy to God, and let Him handle the rest, wherever you are that is where God will find you. He didn't tell us our lives had to be perfect for us to come to Him, that we couldn't deal with anxiety, depression and stress and still be Christians, but He did tell us that wherever we are His freedom is. Live in God's freedom today. Here are some verses to reflect on today. "So Christ has truly set us free. Now make sure that you stay free, and don't get tied up again in slavery to the law." Galatians 5:1 "For you have been called to live in freedom, my brothers and sisters. But don't use your freedom to satisfy your sinful nature. Instead, use your freedom to serve one another in love." Galatians 5:13 "And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free." John 8:32 "So if the Son sets you free, you are truly free." John 8:36

Wait Patiently!

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ If God is making you wait, then wait patiently. Nothing in the waiting is a waste. I remember a time in my life where I was praying for something, I waited years and seem to receive no answer. I waited and waited. Somedays I was impatient and cried all day, other days I waited with patience of steel and praised God for what I knew I would someday receive. Sometimes the waiting is easy, other times it is an uphill battle. Whenever we are waiting we will go through different seasons, but we can count on the fact that God is at work for us. Don't Forget God!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Don't forget God when you receive what you are praying for. God knows the things that we want the most, and often times He does give us what we want. When God does give us the things we want we have to stop and give thanks. It's like this, if you give someone a gift that you know they have really been wanting, something they will absolutely love, and they don't even say thank you it would hurt your feelings. It would make you feel like they don't appreciate you. If someone asked how they got the gift and they said they got it for themselves it would make you hurt also.
