Turn From Evil.

 "Their minds are full of darkness; they wander far from the life God gives because they have closed their minds and hardened their hearts against him." Ephesians 4:18

The first way the devil will try to take over you s through your mind, he will place evil thoughts in your mind, then you will start to wander further from God. Sometimes it's a slow process that you wader, other times it's all at once. Then you will start to have a closed mindset when it comes to the things you know you're supposed to do. Soon enough, you will have a hardened heart against God and everyone around you. See, this process starts small, it starts with a little bad thought and leads you so far from God. You have to keep evil thoughts far from your mind, when you think something like that you have to pray and rebuke the devil and all his evil schemes against you and your family. Say this prayer with me, "in the name of Jesus Christ I rebuke the devil, any thoughts he might try to use, and all the evil he tries to bring. God please heal my body and my mind to be like you, Lord. Help me to show your love everyday. In Jesus Name we pray, Amen!" Here are some verses to reflect on today."Avoid all perverse talk; stay away from corrupt speech." Proverbs 4:24 "Don't turn your back on wisdom, for she will protect you. Love her, and she will guard you." Proverbs 4:6 "For the Lord crushed your wicked power and broken your evil rule." Isaiah 14:5 "Too much talk leads to sin. Be sensible and keep your mouth shut." Proverbs 10:19

Wait Patiently!

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ If God is making you wait, then wait patiently. Nothing in the waiting is a waste. I remember a time in my life where I was praying for something, I waited years and seem to receive no answer. I waited and waited. Somedays I was impatient and cried all day, other days I waited with patience of steel and praised God for what I knew I would someday receive. Sometimes the waiting is easy, other times it is an uphill battle. Whenever we are waiting we will go through different seasons, but we can count on the fact that God is at work for us. Don't Forget God!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Don't forget God when you receive what you are praying for. God knows the things that we want the most, and often times He does give us what we want. When God does give us the things we want we have to stop and give thanks. It's like this, if you give someone a gift that you know they have really been wanting, something they will absolutely love, and they don't even say thank you it would hurt your feelings. It would make you feel like they don't appreciate you. If someone asked how they got the gift and they said they got it for themselves it would make you hurt also.
