We Are God's Workers.

 "For we are both God's workers. And you God's field. You are God's building." 1 Corinthians 3:9

See we are made to work for God, not for a slave, but as servants, wanting to do it. We have to want to willingly do so though, see when we start to become closer to God we want others to feel that same power of Christ that lives in us, the freedom He freely gave us. We need to want to be close as we can to God and His mighty power, and to work in anyway possible we can. We are God's building, when we do things we have to remember to do so in a representative of Christ as we know we are, we have to show people the love of God, and who He really is not how we are. We are meant to be a walking and talking messenger for Jesus, as He would want us to do so. Here are some verses to reflect on today. "The one who plants and the one waters work together with the same purpose. And both will be rewarded for their own hard work." 1 Corinthians 3:8     "For no one can lay any foundation other than the one we already have- Jesus Christ." 1 Corinthians 3:11 "If the work survives, that builder will receive a reward." 1 Corinthians 3:14 "She is energetic and strong, a hard worker." Proverbs 31:17

Wait Patiently!

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ If God is making you wait, then wait patiently. Nothing in the waiting is a waste. I remember a time in my life where I was praying for something, I waited years and seem to receive no answer. I waited and waited. Somedays I was impatient and cried all day, other days I waited with patience of steel and praised God for what I knew I would someday receive. Sometimes the waiting is easy, other times it is an uphill battle. Whenever we are waiting we will go through different seasons, but we can count on the fact that God is at work for us. The waiting is important and a lesson is somewhere in the midst. Today, whatever it is God is having you wait for know that the season of waiting is often a time you look back on as a blessing. Don't Forget God!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Don't forget God when you receive what you are praying for. God knows the things that we want the most, and often times He does give us what we want. When God does give us the things we want we have to stop and give thanks. It's like this, if you give someone a gift that you know they have really been wanting, something they will absolutely love, and they don't even say thank you it would hurt your feelings. It would make you feel like they don't appreciate you. If someone asked how they got the gift and they said they got it for themselves it would make you hurt also. When God gives us what we are praying for we need to shout from the rooftops that God done it for us, that He made a way. We need to thank God, telling everyone about it.
