Why YOUR Circle Is So Important.

"Seeing their faith, Jesus said to the paralyzed man, "My child, your sins are forgiven." Mark 2:5

I read a post today that stated, "In Mark 2, Jesus healed a paralyzed man because of his FRIENDS faith. This is why your circle matters." See in todays society people love to say, "But Jesus hung out with the sinners." That is taken so out of context all though the Bible clearly tells us we shouldn't judge others, it does say to judge the tree by the fruit it bares. Back to the part of Jesus hanging with sinners, although he ate with them, he didn't sin with them, or tell them the way they chose to live was okay, it was much different. He loved them, ate with them, but still preached to them in that time. See the more you hang around someone, a lot of times we seem to develop to their ways, and we tend to become more like them in ways we shouldn't. When you hang around someone you know isn't living right, make sure you don't let them change you, rather always remember how you're supposed to be. Remember to keep your circle small, and with people who are able to go to the next level with you. If you do hang with someone who’s lifestyle isn’t the beet, remember Jesus ate with sinners, but he did not support their sin.. Here are some verses to reflect on. "Stand up, pick up your mat, and go home!" Mark 2:11 "Don't be fooled by those who say such things, for "bad company corrupts good character." 1 Corinthians 15:33 "My child, if sinners entice you, turn your back on them!" Proverbs 1:10 "Neighbors lie to each other speaking with flattering lips and deceitful hearts." Psalms 12:2
