Be Kind Even When No-one Is Around.

 "The Lord rewarded me for doing right. He has seen my innocence." 2 Samuel 22:25 

See we are always told growing up to do the right thing, even when no one is watching. If you do the right thing even when no one is around, God will reward you and bless you for doing right. We have to keep the mentality that we have to do right in all situations, and at all times. When someone mistreats you, don't talk bad about them when they aren't around, if someone hurts your feelings, don't try to secretly hurt theirs back. That is not how God wants us to be, be kind even when no one is around. Be the person you know God wants you to be, blameless and kindhearted. Here are some verses to reflect on today. "Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud." 1 Corinthians 13:4 "ravens of all kinds," Leviticus 11:15 "Stay away from every king of evil." 1 Thessalonians 5:22 "Kind words are like honey- sweet to the soul and healthy for the body." Proverbs 16:24

Wait Patiently!

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ If God is making you wait, then wait patiently. Nothing in the waiting is a waste. I remember a time in my life where I was praying for something, I waited years and seem to receive no answer. I waited and waited. Somedays I was impatient and cried all day, other days I waited with patience of steel and praised God for what I knew I would someday receive. Sometimes the waiting is easy, other times it is an uphill battle. Whenever we are waiting we will go through different seasons, but we can count on the fact that God is at work for us. Don't Forget God!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Don't forget God when you receive what you are praying for. God knows the things that we want the most, and often times He does give us what we want. When God does give us the things we want we have to stop and give thanks. It's like this, if you give someone a gift that you know they have really been wanting, something they will absolutely love, and they don't even say thank you it would hurt your feelings. It would make you feel like they don't appreciate you. If someone asked how they got the gift and they said they got it for themselves it would make you hurt also.
