Come As You Are.

"For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God's glorious standard." Romans 3:23

The amazing thing about God is He doesn't ask us to be perfect when we come into his presents, He want's us to come just as we are, for all we are and all we are not. He is the perfect God and He knows we are imperfect, yet He loves us anyway. We are all imperfect, we all have sinned and fallen short of God's glory, we know that we are not worthy of God's love and forgiveness, but yet he gives it to us anyways. We are meant to go to God with all we are, our brokenness can be healed, let God heal the broken pieces of your life. He wants you with all your mistakes, with all your hurt, with all your pain, with all your chaos. Go to God in prayer today, let Him have all that you are. You are going to be healed from all your brokenness, and you are never too far gone, you never have made too many mistakes. Here are some verses to reflect on today. "Indeed we all make many mistakes. For if we could control our tongues, we would be perfect and could also control ourselves in every other way." James 3:2 "For you are all children of the light of the day; we don't belong in darkness and night." 1 Thessalonians 5:5 "And if our hope in Christ is only for this life, we are more to be pitied than anyone in the world." 1 Corinthians 15:19 "If we claim we have no sin, we are only fooling ourselves and not living in the truth." 1 John 1:8

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ If God is making you wait, then wait patiently. Nothing in the waiting is a waste. I remember a time in my life where I was praying for something, I waited years and seem to receive no answer. I waited and waited. Somedays I was impatient and cried all day, other days I waited with patience of steel and praised God for what I knew I would someday receive. Sometimes the waiting is easy, other times it is an uphill battle. Whenever we are waiting we will go through different seasons, but we can count on the fact that God is at work for us. Don't Forget God!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Don't forget God when you receive what you are praying for. God knows the things that we want the most, and often times He does give us what we want. When God does give us the things we want we have to stop and give thanks. It's like this, if you give someone a gift that you know they have really been wanting, something they will absolutely love, and they don't even say thank you it would hurt your feelings. It would make you feel like they don't appreciate you. If someone asked how they got the gift and they said they got it for themselves it would make you hurt also.
