Don't Let The World Change You.

"Have I now become your enemy because I am telling you the truth?" Galatians 4:16

So many people today get mad at honesty, they don't want to hear the truth of their lives being in sin. We are here to share the gospel and be kind, but we are also here to tell people how we are supposed to live blameless lives and not in sin. The world today tries to change the words the Bible to fit today's world, and today's sin. That isn't how it is, how the Bible is written is how we should live, you can't change what God sees as sin. We all are going to fall short of God's glory, we will sin. He knew that, that is why He sent His one and only Son to die on a cross for the mistakes we would make. Today, let the world hate you for your honesty, let them hate you for not changing your mind on the sin that is taught in the Bible, in the end the only person we need to be accepted by is God. Here are some verses to reflect on today. "And if anyone removes any of the words from this book of prophecy, God will remove that person's share in the tree of life and in the only city that is described in this book." Revelation 22:19 "Kind words are like honey- sweet to the soul and healthy for the body." Proverbs 16:24 "The Lord spoke kind and comforting words to the angel who talked with me." Zechariah 1:13 "So be very careful to follow everything Moses wrote in the Book of Instruction. Do not deviate from it, turning either to the right or to the left." Joshua 23:6

Wait Patiently!

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ If God is making you wait, then wait patiently. Nothing in the waiting is a waste. I remember a time in my life where I was praying for something, I waited years and seem to receive no answer. I waited and waited. Somedays I was impatient and cried all day, other days I waited with patience of steel and praised God for what I knew I would someday receive. Sometimes the waiting is easy, other times it is an uphill battle. Whenever we are waiting we will go through different seasons, but we can count on the fact that God is at work for us. The waiting is important and a lesson is somewhere in the midst. Today, whatever it is God is having you wait for know that the season of waiting is often a time you look back on as a blessing. Don't Forget God!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Don't forget God when you receive what you are praying for. God knows the things that we want the most, and often times He does give us what we want. When God does give us the things we want we have to stop and give thanks. It's like this, if you give someone a gift that you know they have really been wanting, something they will absolutely love, and they don't even say thank you it would hurt your feelings. It would make you feel like they don't appreciate you. If someone asked how they got the gift and they said they got it for themselves it would make you hurt also. When God gives us what we are praying for we need to shout from the rooftops that God done it for us, that He made a way. We need to thank God, telling everyone about it.
