Doors Are Opening.

"But he commanded the skies to open; he opened the doors of heaven." Psalms 78:23

Doors are opening, and get ready for it. I was laying in bed the other night and as I was trying to fall asleep, God gave me a vision. As I closed my eyes, it wasn't a dream because I was very aware and awake, it was of a door, as the door opened all I could see was a bright light. I felt the Lord speaking to me "A new door is opening." That made me feel a peace. All my life I've been told when a door closes God opens a window, I've been praying for something for a while now, and I knew that God was answering my prayers and opening the doors I needed in my life. Today focus on the new things coming, get ready for open doors, and happy moments. Brightness is ahead, be excited for the new chapters. Here are some verses to reflect on today. "Giving a gift can open doors; it gives access to important people!" Proverbs 18:16 "There is a wide-open door for a great work here, although many oppose me." 1 Corinthians 16:9 "Open up, ancient gates! Open up, ancient doors, and let the King of glory enter." Psalms 24:7 "I will give him the key to the house of David- the highest position in the royal court. When he opens doors, no one will be able to close them; when he closes doors, no on will be able to them." Isaiah 22:22

Wait Patiently!

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ If God is making you wait, then wait patiently. Nothing in the waiting is a waste. I remember a time in my life where I was praying for something, I waited years and seem to receive no answer. I waited and waited. Somedays I was impatient and cried all day, other days I waited with patience of steel and praised God for what I knew I would someday receive. Sometimes the waiting is easy, other times it is an uphill battle. Whenever we are waiting we will go through different seasons, but we can count on the fact that God is at work for us. Don't Forget God!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Don't forget God when you receive what you are praying for. God knows the things that we want the most, and often times He does give us what we want. When God does give us the things we want we have to stop and give thanks. It's like this, if you give someone a gift that you know they have really been wanting, something they will absolutely love, and they don't even say thank you it would hurt your feelings. It would make you feel like they don't appreciate you. If someone asked how they got the gift and they said they got it for themselves it would make you hurt also. When God gives us what we are praying for we need to shout from the rooftops that God done it for us, that He made a way. We need to thank God, telling everyone about it.
