Happiness Is Found In Jesus!

"But if you don't believe me when I tell you about earthly things, how can you possibly believe if I tell you about heavenly things?" John 3:12 

See the thing with the world today is, that everyone thinks happiness can be bought. Happiness isn't something you can buy, happiness is something you feel. Happiness is in things from heaven, the gift of true forgiveness from the Savior of the world. We all have looked for happiness in the wrong places at times, trying to fill the voids in our hearts with earthly things. We soon come to realize nothing in this world can satisfy our souls, we will always be searching for more if that's the path we choose to take. Today, remember that happiness is only found through God, that void you've been living with can be filled instantly if you give your heart to God. Today let go of the world, and grasp on to the enteral happiness of Jesus Christ. Here are some verses to reflect on today. "Joyful are people of integrity, who follow the instructions of the Lord." Psalms 119:1 "Those who listen to instructions will prosper; those who trust in the Lord will be joyful." Proverbs 16:20 "No wonder my heart is glad, and I rejoice. My body rests in safety." Psalms 16:9 "Then you will experience God's peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:7 "So don't worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its own worries. Today's trouble is enough for today." Matthew 6:34

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ If God is making you wait, then wait patiently. Nothing in the waiting is a waste. I remember a time in my life where I was praying for something, I waited years and seem to receive no answer. I waited and waited. Somedays I was impatient and cried all day, other days I waited with patience of steel and praised God for what I knew I would someday receive. Sometimes the waiting is easy, other times it is an uphill battle. Whenever we are waiting we will go through different seasons, but we can count on the fact that God is at work for us. Don't Forget God!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Don't forget God when you receive what you are praying for. God knows the things that we want the most, and often times He does give us what we want. When God does give us the things we want we have to stop and give thanks. It's like this, if you give someone a gift that you know they have really been wanting, something they will absolutely love, and they don't even say thank you it would hurt your feelings. It would make you feel like they don't appreciate you. If someone asked how they got the gift and they said they got it for themselves it would make you hurt also.
