Make YOUR prayer life strong as an example!

"Devote yourselves to prayer with an alert mind and a thankful heart." Colossians 4:2

We have to make prayer a priority in our lives. My husband and I had a conversation about our future children the other day, as I expressed my worries about prayer being taken out of schools, my husband admitted that he was worried also. I thought a lot about it even though I knew it was far in the future to make these decision considering we aren't expecting or have any children yet. As the Lord spoke to my spirit that it wasn't something to worry about. God also started to speak to me that prayer isn't something that is only taught at school it's also taught at home, it's something you have to teach your kids not expect everyone else to teach them, you have to show them God is a priority by making Him one in your own lives. If you have kids start this if you haven't already, if you aren't a parent yet it's never to early to make God a priority, you can also show others by making prayer a priority. It isn't only for them, it's also for your life that you need a strong prayer life. Here are some verses to reflect on today."Don't worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done." Philippians 4:6 "Pray like this: Our Father in heaven, may your name be kept holy." Matthew 6:9 "Never stop praying." 1 Thessalonians 5:17 "You can pray for anything, and if you have faith, you will receive it." Mathew 21:22
