Other's Can't Choose Your Future.
"And Joesph's ten older brothers went down to Egypt to buy grain." Genesis 42:3
This story really came to me in a different way than I had ever seen for it before. See Joesph's brothers were jealous of him, and how his father treated him, so they decided to come up with a plan, to derail his life, they sold him to Egypt. There are people in your life I'm sure that are jealous of your success and the things you have in your life. The good thing is that they don't get to choose where God places you and what God choses for your future. See how they wanted his future to be, isn't how God chose it to be. They excepted him to be a servant for the king all his life, and all though he was for sometime he ended up being the second in command. See that's how God works, the brothers needed help from Joesph in the end. Never let the way someone else sees your future be the way you start to see your future, what God has for your future is far more glorious than any of us could imagine. Here are some verses to reflect on today. "You intended to harm me, but God intended it all for good. He brought me to this position so I could save the lives of many people." Genesis 50:20 "My future is in your hands. Rescue me from those who hunt me down restlessly." Psalms 31:15 "For I know the plans I have for you," says the Lord. "They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope." Jeremiah 29:11 "What have you done?" Joesph demanded. "Don't you know that a man like me can predict the future." Genesis 44:15
