Speak out!!

"One night the Lord spoke to Paul in a vision and told him, "Don't be afraid! Speak out! Don't be silent!" Acts 28:9

Some of us will face this problem at many times in our lives, where God speaks a message to our hearts to give to others, but our of fear we hold it in. We fear what others might say or might think, but in reality we shouldn't care. God gives us a message in confidence that we will share it with who or the crowd even that He has asked us to. We are meant to be messengers of Christ for all to hear, not some, not a few but all. If God laid a message on your heart that you've been holding in to tell someone or some people, step out on faith today and give the message God gave you. Be a vessel like God has called us to be. Even if it's only a social media post, or telling someone in your family, friend group or church, speak that word into their life. You have no idea what it could change for them. Here are some verses to reflect on today. "I speak with all sincerity; I speak the truth." Job 33:3 "my lips will speak no evil, and my tongue will no lies." Job 27:4 "Speak to the earth, and it will instruct you. Let the fish in the sea speak to you." Job 12:8 "O Sovereign Lord," I said, "I can't speak for you! I'm too young!" Jeremiah 1:6

Wait Patiently!

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ If God is making you wait, then wait patiently. Nothing in the waiting is a waste. I remember a time in my life where I was praying for something, I waited years and seem to receive no answer. I waited and waited. Somedays I was impatient and cried all day, other days I waited with patience of steel and praised God for what I knew I would someday receive. Sometimes the waiting is easy, other times it is an uphill battle. Whenever we are waiting we will go through different seasons, but we can count on the fact that God is at work for us. Don't Forget God!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Don't forget God when you receive what you are praying for. God knows the things that we want the most, and often times He does give us what we want. When God does give us the things we want we have to stop and give thanks. It's like this, if you give someone a gift that you know they have really been wanting, something they will absolutely love, and they don't even say thank you it would hurt your feelings. It would make you feel like they don't appreciate you. If someone asked how they got the gift and they said they got it for themselves it would make you hurt also. When God gives us what we are praying for we need to shout from the rooftops that God done it for us, that He made a way. We need to thank God, telling everyone about it.
